Reasons to why i dont like friendster.

Friendster!!! ah yes, d network that connects a billion people? 99% of my friends own a friendster account, not me however. If u asked why, sometimes, i find it ridiculous. Heres the main reason : The Freakingly Irritating-pissing-infuriating Testimonials sent by ppl.

Ill give you guys a simple example as a start :














See this pic? funny right? ''hello'', d alien baby dog says. Well, this is a common testimonial guys in friendster like to send to girls. WHat does it mean anyway?

''oh hello, im pleased to tell you that im desperate for you''

NO wonder you only see guys sending this stupid testi to girls but not guys. Damn.

Then, theres this sort of guys that love to send testimonials to girls that seem so idiotic i wanna burn it up.

See, Mr ''Thoughtless'' sent this testimonial to my friend and now has a problem.

Problem #1 : my friend did not bother asking anything that had to do with him.
Problem #2 : He has a face so thick even a nuclear bomb cannot blast through.

I seriously, sincerely, truthfully, pity that guy. But one thing strange, if everyone of you find the testimonial as stupid and irritating as i do, why wont my friend bother blocking or deleting that testimonial.

Gosh, they are many other reasons to why i dont subscribe a friendster account. But this few reasons are alr enough to piss me off. I really should be doing my chemistry work now, but i had to blog because i couldn't stand these guys after seeing their testi's sent to my friends.

The path i chose..the path i'd say goodbye.

This is how it all started a few years back..








Dota Allstars, a once unknown game. I started playing it with my friends in a now sucky cybercafe called ezone. As time passed, i learned more of the game and soon was very good in it.
After 2 years playing, my and my friend Daniel decided it was time to form our own team to go for competitive play.

Our team consist of me, Daniel, Adrian, Jason and ah Leong.
We played as a team for quite some time, but showed no progress. Then daniel decided to change the team and i tagged along.

We recruited 3 new members, Miyuki, Nicr and Han.
We were so good, we got MmoRpg ( a cyber cafe if u all dont know) to sponsor our gaming activities. They gave us free pc's to play, and even a jacket!!! cool lolz.
We later joined smm revenge Kl ( a dota tournament) and turned out champions in that event. Winning the grand prize of RM1000 ( quite lil tho hehe) thus, qualifying for the grand finals and standing a chance to win rm33000!
Yes yes, gaming can win u a whopping 33k.

I was on cloud nine, that victorious feeling is something that cannot be described by words.

There is no way i could hide my joy, for it was the first time i won a dota tournament. Best of all, not long only after forming a new team!!
All 5 of us were happy and we liked being in our new team.

Then problems started to occur.

First we didnt meet eye to eye in some things. Then ..this.

So for your info, i got 0 for my chemistry quiz. (I know i know, kinda impossible rite? tembak also can get some marks lah! -.-)
Its true i suck in chemistry, but d fact that im being too actively involved in gaming has taken its toll on me. Ive never got 0 for quizzes/ test before. I was disappointed at myself.

Then at this moment where i was feeling down and sad, my team members confronted me. They were disappointed of the fact that i missed training on thurs night despite the fact that i had exams on friday! They even told me that they wanted to train more for the grand finals.
How much more i asked. ''2-3 times a week at LEAST'' was the reply.
.... i was left speechless. No way my dad would allow me that amount of time out playing and no way either i would allow myself to do that. So there was one option left for me, to quit the team.

My team mates were really nice. They plead for me to stay however they didnt want to give up the time planned to be spent on training. Daniel was most reluctant for me to leave.(Well, d fact is im good thats why lolzz..) Finally, we came to a decision. and by mutual consent, i decided to quit. If i said i was not sad even for a bit, i was lying. The times spent together was really fun. (Although it was kinda short) But im confident i have made the right choice for now, studies over play. An obvious yet hard to pick choice. =(

Nonetheless, ill never forget my teammates in team MmoRpg. I'd miss the times where they would call and compare me to Mym Merlini(A world class dota player) when i executed moves that seemed impossible, miss the times when they would laugh at me when i made mistakes, miss the times when we would sit by laughing happily at each other after managing to cheat the MmoRpg boss's money.. :D MmoRpg, It was an honour playing by your side.

Things to look for during my exams

Its my chemistry quiz tomorrow and i still haven't done by studying yet.
Which makes me wonder, how much i appreciate my friends in college during my exams...

When i feel lazy, and feel bad for being lazy ; i call for JonYee and yeaw khuan. For they are foolishly lazyyyyyy friends of mine.

When i need motivation to study, i look for wooi hau and ye shan, For their so nerdy attitude of studying always makes me wanna study.

When i need help in my studying, i turn to ji-an, for she has the brains to help solve my questions. (This rule applies ONLY occasionally)

When im feeling stupid, i think of Carien ; and right after that, i feel better because i know theres someone out there being more stupid than i am.

And not to forget, theres Timothy when i feel like relaxing during my exam periods. For i feel his always relaxing in one way or another.

When i feel lonely during exams, theres always Jin and Li Wen to look for. Their intimacy can really make me feel better. Ya right.

When i finally need consolation after my exam results are out, well. Theres jon yee + wooi hau + yeaw khuan + timmy there for me!!!! =D

Run awaaaay maid!!

Just about a month ago, my maid who has been working for 9 months ran away.
Before her escape , she showed several suspicious symptoms.
1 ) She claimed she dreamed of her dad in her sleep, calling for her to go home.
2 ) She said she ''wanted'' to work, but her body felt weak.
3 ) She wanted to go home..

My mum sent her back to the maid agency. After a week or so, the agency called for us to claim d maid and she was ok now. She seemed strange upon reaching home, i sensed that smth was wrong in her eyes >) lol...
Not long, as predicted by my aunt, she ran away after receiving some cash from my uncle after washing my uncle's car.
Lesson no 1 : do not let your maids handle $$ , it is very seductive.

So after 3months of no-maid suffering, (im not a spoilt brat, its just that i need a maid to help my grandma do the cooking.. lolzzz) my new maid finally arrived. Yesssh!!!

This time, after only ONE day of working, this new maid said she didnt enjoy working and wanted to go home.
Now at this point, some shallow freaks like jon yee and wooi hau might most probably be thinking that i abused the maid or smth. WRONG! , I wouldn't even recognize the maid if i bumped into her now ok.

So eventually, we didnt want to force her to work either. its a capitalist economy after all right=)
So my mum send her back to the agency once again. Then, the agency called back after a few days saying the maid was ready to work again. Even the maid herself admitted it.
- I wonder what does all the maid agencies do to maids to get them to comply. *wonder wonder*

So..we finally decided to pick up the maid to avoid her from more suffering in the agency.
This time, i didnt suspect anything. the maid seemed normal. However, after 2 weeks of working, she finally ran away again after stealing rm50 that was simply placed on the table.

Well, then i thought, it couldn't have been a coincidence that both of my maids ran away in a row!!! strike lottery also higher chance la!
Lesson no2 : kindness shown are not always repaid.

So...i decided to investigate the matter.











AH-HA! i found out that there was this new indian lady behind my house that started working there not long ago. After several inquiries, we found out she was from Melaka. Local.. >) And not long after she arrived, my first maid ran away. and now my second maid. I've been having many maids for the past years, and nothing similar has ever happened.

Fishy..very fishy indeed.

Then, my brave dad went to gave her some thoughts of his own. Well, to be precise, scold that mofo. Then we found out dat some sydicates out there would pay commissions to people who would get maids to work for them. Now, the puzzles fit.









Gotcha!
That bloody bitch living behind my house could very well be the culprit of all these.

Since the past month, i have been experiencing disconnection problems frequently.
Duh, my isp provider obviously is tmnet.streamyx (who else) ???!!!!!
I've called their technical support management and asked for help numerous times, to no avail.
Their technicians even came to my house once, but he didnt complete his job and the problem still persist.
Its really frustrating as the internet as somewhat be a part of my life.. lol

How are we possible gonna compete with foreign countries with this kinda shitty service?
Needless to say, their average download speed is clocked at MB/S compared to our miserable dl speed of kb/s . Aargh..















I know the prices streamyx offer is slightly cheaper than other isp providers such as maxis.
But rm 77 a month for that kinda service, yes it does suck.

Yes, we should all say ''tak nak'' to streamyx!

Mayb we all could try out the new P1 Hotzone thingy, free till end of 2007. cool. I see greatness in this new upcoming brand =D
