It was friday night.
Me, wooihau , jon yee, karleong were online chatting. We felt bored these days, almost nothing to do even on saturday nights. So wooi hau, d chicken wing fanatic suggested that we went over to kar leong's house on sat night to barbeque. His one guy that would just give his suggestion, then sit and wait for his wish to come true. Well of course, it wouldn't be. Thankfully, he had a friend like me (lolzzz) .. so as usual, i started planning for the bbq. It was to be on the next day, so we didnt really have much time to prepare for all sorts of magnificent food. We only managed to prepare sausages, sweet potatoes, and last but not least, chicken wings!!(it was the reason why we all agreed to this bbq, all of us loveddd chicken wings).
We decided only to invite guy friends to this bbq , as this would be an all-guy outing where we could share our deepest and dirtiest secrets =D I invited around 10 of our friends, but only 6 turned up.
Sat Night.
We reached kar leong's house at about 8pm. That lazy guy was still seated infront of his pc and didn't even start preparing the equipment needed for d bbq. After a short conversation, all of us were ready to start the fire for the bbq >)
We used fire starters, hair dryers, stand fans, cooking stoves.. but we could not get d charcoal heated for the bbq. Now all of us were really getting kinda fed up, we took turns relaxing on the massaging chair :D Then, a car drove in the porch... kar leong's dad!! our saviour!! He was indeed a pro at work, within minutes, he got d fire so big we could even feel the heat standing a foot away from d fire. Finally, we could start cooking our already marinated chickens =)
We enjoyed the first 15 chicken wings..wolfing them up like no tomorrow. Then for our next 15 chicken wings... waa-laa.. brilliant wooi hau didnt marinate them and it was totally tasteless..haha. Then, our second saviour appeared, Kar Leong's mum!! She gave us the ingredients that would get our chicken wings marinated in a mere 5minutes. We poured all the ingredients into the bowl with the 15 chicken wings left. Pepper, salt, soya sauce, etcetc.. Then we spreaded the ingredients to all the chicken wings in the ball together with our bare hands..
Now im damn sure some idiot did not wash his hands be4 doing this, because after i ate these delicious chicken wings, my stomach was aching like hell. I passed everything out i ate for d night in d toilet. As soon as i came out, my so-called friends cum brothers had finished every last piece of food on d table!!!!.................................so much for 10 years of friendship huh? - -
Nvm that, we continued d live broadcast of the manchester united vs chealsea match.
It was alr extra time.. I was supporting mu, and my friends didnt support any particular team. Except jon yee which was a liverpool fan and wanted all hell to rise upon mu, thus supported chelsea..(liverpool sucks btw) haha.. Wooi hau had a reputation for one of d foul-est mouths among us. He would criticise ppl's disfigurement and so on..lolz And as soon as he opened his mouth to say smth bad about mu, WALAA Didier Drogba scored for chelsea.. 3minutes left on d clock, all hope was lost...Well im not a whiner, but what could i possibly do with my friend.. (his much stronger).. lol
I was real sad as mu lost. So to all mu fans out there, remember his name!!!! We shall curse him for life!!!!

The hard-to-please species, and a very happy mother's day to all mums!!

- When guys give girls valuable gifts for their bdays,christmas..etcetc , girls get fed up and complain that all they ever wanted was something sincerely hand made.

Statement 5 : Girls prefer a naughty guy compared to a boring but faithful guy.
- Trust me girls, when guys get naughty, u ain't gonna like it =D

Statement 6 : Girls like guys that excel in their studies and in sports.
- When guys devote time in their studies and sports, girls complain guys do not spend enough time with them.

Statement 7 : When guys spend lots of time with their girlfriends..
- Girls tend to say they want something different, not the usual movie and dinner outings..

Conclusion is, girls are hard to please. or should i say, impossible to please? well of course there are some which are easy to please =P
Today is mothers day, despite all the above statements of women, im happy to say my mum is a wonderful woman which is caring and understanding too. I wouldn't dare say this infront of her, probably because guys are shy when it comes to this kinda stuff lol.. hopefully, she can ''feel'' what i think :D

Today i was browsing through the Star newspapers and i came across this article : I was truly touched by this event... heres a closer view of the title :

It happened in NZ, where 2 pitbulls were about to attack 5 young children, and yes, it was this Jack Russel Terrier that came to the rescue. It was much smaller in size compared to the pair of attackers, yet it stood up bravely, and fought to protect the lives of these children that were at stake. This dog was named George. It successfully saved the lives of all these children, but it was mauled by the attackers so badly it was to be put to sleep by the vet. A pyrrhic victory in the end..
That led me thinking, a dog could show so much bravery in saving a few kids that it usually just played with. it was willing to do it despite the ultimate sacrifice - death. Most importantly, the kids were not even its owner that fed him.
Could humans ever do this for one another? Of course there are many people in this world that would and be willing to do this, but needless to say to be able to protect the lives of others, most importantly, not harm others.
In the world we live in today, countless events of robbery, theft, murder, rape,speeding etc cases that take the lives of our kind are happening. The number of these cases are still significantly rising day by day. We live in a world that is no longer safe.. A night out having supper with friends could well turn into a tragic ending. These are all caused by the deeds of mankind which is truly heart breaking, i dread the day that this would happen to one of my friends and family. The thought of losing anyone of them is simply too much for me to take.
So please, the next time be4 u do something such as speeding that could harm the lives of others, think twice, or even thrice be4 commiting to it.
