KTM - Killing Tourism Malaysia
Me and my friends went to a place in Klang called Bukit Tinggi for a tournament. It was far away, as in.. Real FAR... we had no problems finding transportation there, but when it was 9pm at night when it was time to go home, and we ran into transportation difficulties. We tried to find a cab, but there was no cab to be seen in Bukit Tinggi. Shit.
We wandered about without getting a taxi, and finally decided to walk to tesco hoping to get a cab there. Lady luck shone on us, we even got a cab that was willing to fetch us to the nearest KTM station in Klang for rm15.. obviously, he saw the desperation of reaching home in us, and took advantage of it.. =/ It was one of the worst taxi's i ever took. There was this foul smell in the taxi, if not mistaken, body odour from the taxi driver... And if thats not the worst of it, d driver was into some kinda techno music....FULL BLAST!!!!!! he turned the volume to max and enjoyed his music like it was Jazz.. to me, it was like heavy metal. i Felt so dizzy(with the combination of music and the foul smell).. i wanted to puke.
At last, we reached our destination, KTM station in Klang. We tried to get tickets.. but the ticket counter was closed, with ppl sitting inside the counter, but displaying a ''rehat'' sign infront of them, ignoring everyone.
So we got in line like everyone else, to buy d tickets from the machine like everyone else.
Finally it was our turn to buy our tickets, we tried inserting ''paper money'' (wang kertas) in the machine but it just bounced it all back. We got so frustrated, we went to the counter and asked for help. Either to change money, or get the tickets straight. Those ppl working there simply ignored us, minding their own business. i Felt Disgusted.. It was not a hard thing to do selling tickets, and was even easier helping us get our tickets. But they chose to sit their asses on their comfortable chairs and enjoy the pleasure of everyone having trouble getting their tickets. I considered sending a complaint to their superiors, but it was just.. well, u-know-who working for u-know-who.
Finally, we resorted to going to a nearby convenience store to get our money changed. and we got our tickets after all the trouble. Then, i saw something which was funny, yet giving me a feeling of hatred.
There was this malay guy, buying his tickets from d machine too. RM8.00 was his total cost for the ticket, (i dont know to where he was headed, but the ticket seems rather expensive) .. anyway, the guy didnt want the trouble of having to insert notes into the machine then getting them bounced back, so he prepared RM8.00 OF COINS!!!! .. he took some time inserting it all into the machine.. then.. TAA-DAA!!.. all the coins he inserted into the machine had been ''vomitted'' out, like when a person hit the jackpot in Genting Highlands Casino.. Some error happened i suppose.. Gosh.. if i was in his place, i might have took a sledge hammer and made raw metal out of the machine...
So with Malaysia promoting 'Visit Malaysia 2007' and offering these kind of services to people.. i doubt that it would be anyhow successful by failing to provide good transportation service to the people which is a necessity.. With this, dont say vision 2020 lah, vision 3020 also impossible la. duh.

Like rubbing salt on my wounds...
I bet everyone has experienced stress and had overcomed it before clinging on to their beliefs and something they deeply care/like for. Im stressed, feeling lost, and imagine what, My parents(more of my dad) are trying to snatch away my last salvation. Well i believe im old and mature enough to know whats right for myself, but it just frustrates me that my parents dont trust me on certain decisions i make, putting a damn halt and objection to it. Not only that, when i ignore them, my dad starts doing really stupid stuff which is so freaking annoying. As said im stressed due to various reasons, and all i have left which brings me joy is trying to b taken away from me by my parents. Things just cant get any worst ( i hope) .. Well at d very least, its not always bad things that happens to us. I could at least put my thoughts on helping my friends campaign for d upcoming student council board election.
And heres d reason i smile everday ..

My hometown, Ipoh
This weekend me and my family made a trip back to my hometown, ipoh to visit my grandpa which has been seriously ill since d last 2 weeks. It was really jam probably because of d school holidays and it took us 3hours n 30mins than d usual 1hour 40mins to reach ipoh.
As soon as i stepped in my grandpa's house, there i saw him lying on a special bed in d living area.
He was so thin, there was no flesh in him. Only skin wrapping bones. His hands were all bruises.(this was due to some medication he took that caused side effects in which his skin turning soft and whenever he accidently knocked smth, it would start bleeding.) According to my grandman, his condition now was much better than 2 weeks ago. I really couldn't imagine what was to be of during d last 2 weeks. There i took his hand in mine, and asked if he could still recognize me. His eyes looking into mine.. '' Eu..Eu...Eu...ROY!! '' his pronunciation wasn't as accurate as before, but it had to be me =D A sign of relief passed through me, and i could at least force a smile at him. But i was sad though, that he no longer could walk. His systems had failed him, and he no longer had the strength to walk . But the very least, i hope, he still has the strength and will to live.
Apart from going back to ipoh for my grandfather, well of course.. theres always another reason.
Ipoh Food!!!!!!!
I have to say, ipoh food is much much much, far far far better than KL food. Why?
1. Its cheaper
2. Its tastier
3. Its cleaner
4. The ppl serving it is much friendlier =)
Here are some of the food i ate over d past day i was in ipoh hehe.
